Worship Hours and Styles

9 a.m. Sunday: Contemporary “praise-style” service with an emphasis on

modern Christian music and the UCT worship band.

11 a.m. Sunday: Casual service with a mix of traditional hymns and liturgy and

the UCT choir.

We welcome all who seek to come together in a community of faith to explore

what it means to be a Christian in today's world, to be nurtured in God's Spirit

and to serve others.

SUNDAY WORSHIP, 9 and 11 a.m. (Joint service at 10 a.m. on months with a 5th Sunday.)
It is during worship that the UCT community comes together in the unity of the Spirit to celebrate and give thanks to our Creator. Our worship is in the reformed tradition of our Congregational predecessors with a style developed by our life together over the years.
At the 9am service, you will find worship to be in a more contemporary style with a worship band and modern praise music.
At the 11am service, you will find a casual atmosphere with well loved hymns and musical offerings by our choir.
We encourage creativity in the presentation of sermons, in music, and storytelling. We tend to be informal, yet grounded in the presence of the holy. We often share laughter and tears as the events of our lives and the world are offered.
We appreciate the resources we have for worship leadership within the congregation and we encourage participation in our services.
Worship at UCT is coordinated by the Worship Committee and the Pastor.
