Our folks are friendly and we join in laughter and tears as the events of our lives and the world are shared with one another during the Joys and Concerns part of our service. We also have a time of communal greeting to offer one another a sign of Christ’s peace. |
I began my ministry at UCT in March 2010, after serving a UCC church in Central Pennsylvania for ten years. My core values as a pastor are these:
We are a church that takes Jesus’ command to “love one another” seriously. We are a welcoming church, open and affirming to the LGBT community and accessible to all who seek to worship with us and join the journey of faith. We expect diversity and look for it in people and ideas. We believe that “God is still speaking” and that every person is loved by God and worthy to be an active, vibrant, and generous participant in the Body of Christ, the church.
