NEW TO UCT?Hi! Thanks for visiting us here in the ether. We hope you will visit us in person as well. At UCT our atmosphere is fairly casual and informal so you can expect to see a range of “outer-wear” from shorts to suits and everything in between. God cares about the “inner-wear” of your heart and so do we, so come as you are. You’ll feel comfortable and welcomed. Head inside through the big red doors and the sanctuary will be to your right. Generally services last about an hour and at the 11a.m. service, school age young folks start off in church with everyone and will be taken to Faith Space after a “Come Sit With Me” time with the pastor. Nursery care is also available for the tiniest among us at both services. Coffee and bagels are ready by about 8:30a.m. in case you need some fuel for functioning. A number of us are in that category! Please feel free to socialize before and after both services. Folks are usually hanging out talking and you are welcome to join in. Just turn left after you come in the front door and head to the sunny yellow room. When you arrive, you will be greeted with a smile and a hello by more than one person, so be prepared for friendly folks. We are an eclectic faith-full bunch and enjoy meeting new people. |
